MLBL offers free, in-person (for grades 3-8) and virtual tutoring (grades 3-12). Scheduling is decided between tutors and caregivers, so enjoy flexible timings! Note that you can be registered for both in-person and virtual options concurrently.

In-Person Tutoring
We’re excited to offer free tutoring for students in grades 3 through 8 at the Montgomery Library! Students can book a 45-minute one-on-one session with our dedicated tutors on Mondays from 5:00-7:15 p.m. who are here to help with a variety of subjects. Visit the Montgomery Library Events Calendar to register. We protect patron privacy and we will not share the contact information of who signs up for sessions. We will only provide tutors with the child's name, grade, and subject they need help with.

We offer free, one-on-one virtual tutoring for students in grades 3-12, providing a flexible alternative to in-person sessions. Caregivers/students can coordinate directly with tutors to schedule sessions at convenient times, with no set limits on session length or frequency—these details are entirely up to the tutor and family. High school students, including those seeking support in honors or AP courses, are also welcome to enroll. Sessions will be conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, or a similar platform.
